It's a nice idea, and one I'm going to implement on my pictures
collections, but it's something you have to do for each file or dir.
rm/cp/mv -i as an alias is done only once. However, it's not really rm
that benefits of this, for me. When deleting pictures or similar
stuff, I normally work in Nautilus. It's cp and mv that save me from
overwriting previous stuff with the -i. And if you move pictures to
and fro, you're bound to get two IMG-123456.JPG files with the same
name, sooner or later. It's worse with webcam shots.

I actually don't use rm -rf all that much, now that I think of it, and
if I'm working with lots of files without -f, rm -i helps me see I'm
actually zapping only the chickens I wanted.
