Visible lines on my LCD screen (Refresh rate problem?)

I had that pb on a Dell (Inspiron 8200) when installing the proprietary 
drivers (nvidia). Try with the open source drivers (or vice-versa if 
you're using them for now). Then if it's the same pb you might have to 
look elsewhere :)
