Deleting IMAP folders

I encountered that flaw and several others with Evolution accessing
IMAP. After several Evolution updates and try/bug/fail I gave up and now
use eclusively Thunderbird as my email client.

It may exist some workaround for you problem with Evolution but I can't
help about it. Give other MUAs a try ans stick with the one that suit
best your needs. Thunderbird, Mozilla-mail have good IMAP support and
tend to show less bugs IMHO.
