Open a terminal and type "less <filename>" maybe?  Why would you even want a 
GUI for something you can achieve in about 5 lines of C++[1] on the command 
line??  Sheesh - and you think *KDE* is bloatware!

OTOH - try searching the packages.

[1] Yes I know "less" has a LOT more lines of code than that, I am simply 
saying you can display the contents of a text file in about 5 lines of C++ - 
anything more than that is features (aka. bloat).
