This bug apparently only affects some models. I know of an old Gateway
PC that didn't shut down right under warty but worked great with hoary
and breezy. I will NOT be upgrading that one to Dapper anytime soon,
so I have not tested it. I guess I ought to burn the latest flight
liveCD to test it so I can see.

We need to file the bugs on these machines so those of us who love
running Ubuntu on our old PCs can keep it up!
