386 vs 686 kernel? And uninstall linux-image-2.6.15-21-386 removes Linux-386?

Well, I downloaded the files manually and moved them to
/var/cache/apt/archives. Then I installed the 686 kernel. Next, I
removed all other kernels and their versions. Lucky, that my Kubuntu
is still intact.
