Orwell 0.1 beta 1 released!

Hey all!
Orwell aims to be a text editor that is crossplatform, simple and
easy to use and contribute to.
Orwell 0.1 beta 1 (0.0.4), the first beta release leading up to the
0.1 stable release, is now out! If everything goes OK here and no
bugs are seen or reported, then we might release a release candidate
of Orwell 0.1 today. You can get Orwell 0.1 beta 1 via a few methods:
* Tarball: at http://kbrooks.ath.cx/orwell-0.0.4.tar.gz.
Instructions: Extract the tarball, cd into the new directory
created, then run Orwell by doing the command "python orwell.py"
(without the quotes) in a terminal.
* Patch: http://kbrooks.ath.cx/orwell-diff-between-a3-and-b1.patch
(requires Orwell 0.1 alpha 3). Instructions: go to the directory
where you have Orwell 0.1 alpha 3 and apply this patch: "patch -p2 <
/path/to/orwell-diff-between-a3-and-b1.patch" (without the quotes).
Then you can run Orwell by doing the command "python orwell.py"
(without the quotes) in a terminal.
We are in a Feature/UI freeze until 0.1 is released. This release
fixes bugs seen in 0.1a3:
* Document name bar doesn?t show up on each run of Orwell, like it
did in Orwell 0.1 alpha 2.
* When you e-mail a document, it doesn?t ask you for who the
document is from, or even ask you for a optional message.
* Quit button doesn?t work.

We still have a long way to go. Please help shape the future of
Orwell by giving YOUR feedback! Your feedback will go into improving
future releases!
Known bugs (all will be fixed in 0.1 beta 2): None. Please report
any bug you find in Orwell via IRC or reply to this e-mail message
about the bug, and we will fix it immediately.
You can get a bleeding edge version of Orwell using the following
command (requires SVN): svn checkout
