Gnome low screen resolution (just 640x480)

i've had this issue with breezy. i had to edit my xorg.conf ... not an
uberbugsquasherman here.... but if you edit it, just search it for
""640x480"" and replace that with your ideal resolution... or add your
ideal resolution.
