YA SSH newbie

here's a status update:
sshd is running:

    micke at einstein:~$ ps -e|grep ssh
  7978 ?        00:00:00 ssh-agent
  17748 ?        00:00:00 sshd
--------------------

and on my system it's located at -/usr/sbin/sshd-

trying /etc/init.d/sshd restart gets me:

--------------------
    micke at einstein:~$ /etc/init.d/sshd restart
  bash: /etc/init.d/sshd: No such file or directory
  micke at einstein:~$ sudo /etc/init.d/sshd restart
  sudo: /etc/init.d/sshd: command not found
--------------------


so..   if you're as frustrated w/ my growing list of issues as I am..
you'll all want a break..

guys...  Many thanks for your help w/ this.  lets take a break.
I'll spend some quality time w/ the wiki's and other docs.. and getting
my head out.
