GrepZen,
I am going to assume you were talking about ssh-agent again here.  I 
just want to clear up a small misconception.

ssh-agent is not the ssh client or server.  It is a keychain management 
application that helps with using RSA keys with ssh connections to allow 
authentication between hosts using keys.  Once you have it all 
configured properly, it is much better than password based 
authentication, as has been pointed out previously in this thread.
