usb devices does not mount automatically

usb devices should not normally be put in /etc/fstab.

That's a very poor way to use USB devices.  It was probably fine for the
time, but Ubuntu, udev, hal and pmount have come a long way since February
2004, and you'll miss much of the usefulness that both Gnome & KDE Ubuntu
desktops have.
