Unfortunately, this information is firmware specific. You router may not
permit you to change, or even view this information. Alternatively, it could
be like my ADSL router which openly displays it and permit you to change it
via a web interface. Whether you can modify it is purely down to the
manufacturer.

Personally, I'd be astounded if the MTU of your router isn't 1500 so if your
setting the MTU on your network card to 1392 you'll have no issues. A very
slight drop in throughput, but practically unnoticable.

I would ask your ISP why they have their kit running on 1400 MTU and thus
you having to mess around with your settings though. Seems a little odd in
this day and age.
