ubuntu and NTFS

I'm not in front of an NTFS box right now, but the last time
I tried to do it, it was just a matter of using mount(8) --
something like

mount -t ntfs /dev/ntfs_device /mnt/mount_point

or whatever. Last I knew, Linux could only read NTFS, not
write to it, but that was a few years ago.
