Mount a hd with ubuntu on it

If it's IDE - 
Primary Master = hda
Primary Slave  = hdb
Secondary Master = hdc
Secondary Slave  = hdd

SATA and SCSI are different.

sudo fdisk -l will show you all your drives and their partitions.
