We decided to stick to samba for all clients on networks we deploy; here
we have Macs, Windows and Linux clients.  We've yet to find a reliable
windows/samba browser (a la network neighbourhood) and therefore
manually mount the samba shares in the client's /etc/fstab.  We put up
