Icon cache: how to rebuild it ? (to replace Ubuntu logo)

Hello,

I am trying to replace the Ubuntu logo that's in the Gnome panel/menu,
as its colour palette really clashes with the rest of my desktop, looks
out of place.

In Breezy one had just to change the icon,
in /usr/share/icons/hicolor/48x48/aps/distributor-logo.png then reload
the gnome panel.

Then in Dapper it got more involved, as an icon cached was introduced.
To rebuild the cache one had to use the command "update-gtk-icon-cache
or somethin, IIRC. But now I have updated to Edgy, and I can find that
command anymore ! :-/

What is the procedure to rebuild the cache then ?

TIA
