Actually you won't get all the data configured so you can access without
a lot of problems. For example you'll have to totally reconfigure your
account(s), tasks won't work, and if I remember rightly your directory
structure for sorting emails also has to be reconstructed.

There are some instructions on the net for how to do this properly.
Search for 'backup evolution'.
