I like this article.  If you're going to be messing around with
dual-boot systems, then I would suggest, in addition to what the article
recommends, that the OP consider downloading any of several bootloaders,
such as:

Smart Boot Manager
Grub for DOS
GAG
BootItNG

The OP would be well-served to download the Ultimate Boot CD ISO, and
burn the CD.  It includes several of the bootloaders mentioned above.

My current favorite is BootItNG, because it's also a partitioner and
image creator (like Ghost).  It's pricey, but worth it.  I consider all
of these to be essential tools.  I have and use them all, and all my
past booting anxieties are distant memories ..
