AC_CHECK_LIB in edgy - problem using it in configure.in

Hi,

I'm desperately trying to build evolution-brutus(*) in Ubuntu edgy but
with no success. The problems starts with the AC_CHECK_LIB macro in my
configure.in file (at line 354) - it never succeeds. Even something as
simple as:

AC_CHECK_LIB([m], [main]) 

fails. Can anyone help me with this?
