Don't forget, each time you write to a vendor and display interest in
Linux support, you're showing them that there is a linux market that
they cannot ignore. Same goes for computer stores. Go in and ask which
video card they recommend for linux. If they don't know how to answer,
they'll understand that they need to expand their horizons a bit.
As for the problem with the Tascom, I'm not familiar with the product
but I just googled it. Seems others have this problems well. What
exactly is your setup? You can probably get by without the tascom,
depending on how complex (or simple) your equipment is. Actually, if
you're only listening to music, andnot recording, then I see no value
in the product.
