impossible to run Mathematica ??

thanks for your help! now it works. but unfortunately I still have a
little problem:
at the start up, I receive many messages like:

"An ilegal right hand side value was specified for the cell style option ..."

I click on "continue" many many times and at the end I can actually
open the mathematica, but the menus are not complete. there are
options missing (those ones that presented the error message).

do you have an idea on how can I fix this?
