I am having ubuntu on my laptop where there is no way I can start
internet. If this device starts it would be of great help else I may have to
move away from Linux on my laptop.

Does anyone have experience with above modem;

I am unable to access the internet from this laptop as internal modem is not working the PCMCIA CDMA wireless card with me is not supported by Linux.
Linux detects the card when inserted but while configuring the modem it hangs or give the message that modem is in use.

Details of PCMCIA card is
800MHz CDMA 1X
Model: MC315
PCMCIA : TYPE-II
Wireless Modem

Further details are at

Thank you in advance
