AMD 64 bit & Kubuntu Feisty

I installed the 64 bit Feisty from CD.
I must say the installation was flawless.
I now have a dual boot Acer 5102 AMD 64(x2) Laptop ( very sweet ).
2.6.20.3-Ubuntu1-custom #1 SMP Mon Apr 2 19:38:05 BRT 2007 x86_64 GNU/Linux
My only problem is the built-in Acer OrbiCam does not work on Kubuntu Linux
lsusb : Bus 003 Device 002: ID 0402:5602 ALi Corp.
I have tried several tips from the internet including using svn to grab
the m560x-driver and re-building the Kernel.

That is not to say I did everything correctly.
So far the result is: the same with the original feisty kernel
2.6.20-13-generic
xawtv -device /dev/video0
This is xawtv-3.95.dfsg.1, running on Linux/x86_64 (2.6.20.3-ubuntu1-custom)
can't open /dev/video0: No such device
v4l-conf had some trouble, trying to continue anyway
v4l2: open /dev/video0: No such device
v4l2: open /dev/video0: No such device
v4l: open /dev/video0: No such device
no video grabber device available
ll /dev/video*

Any ideas ? Suggestions?
