Bittorrent not working in Feisty

I'm using the bit torrent client that comes from bittorrent.com, not the 
one in the Ubuntu repositories.

It allows as many downloads at a time as one likes, and the interface I 
find is quite easy and intuitive.

I tried Azureus before, and there was a reason I gave up on it, though I 
can't remember what.

In any case, while Azureus may be a fine bittorrent client, but I think 
there's a matter of principle here. If I am to switch applications, it 
should be because I prefer a feature set, not because there is an error 
in the OS that prevents me from opening the application.

So I'd rather solve the bittorrent issue in any case, and then later 
maybe look into alternatives.
