openGL crashes

Hi again,

I sent a mail earlier mentioning that Blender was crashing for me. I then
figured out that the problem was common to all openGL applications. Every
time a screensaver (or any openGL) application starts, the X servers
crashes, and I land up on the login screen.

Like I mentioned, I ran the Update Manager yesterday, after which this
problem has started to crop up. I also installed Beryl at the same time
too, and subsequently removed it. The problem persists.

Can someone tell me how I can find out the source of the problem?

Thanks,
Niraj
