Wow! Microsoft makes sequels now? hehe, I've never seen the common
pronunciation of Structured Query Language spelled out that way. :-)

You might consider mergeant. It uses libgnomedb, which supposedly had
support for MS SQL server: http://www.gnome-db.org/Providers_status

The mergeant package itself is described here:

Mergeant isn't perfect, but it might be helpful.

Also, you might consider using Eclipse and its data tools plugin:
http://www.eclipse.org/datatools/ 
And there are other eclipse plugins that allow browsing of an SQL
server.
