[Dapper] Best way to access speech?

   Yeah, I already have that, even in some script files. In "angel" for
example, I set the main volume to 90%, play a random episode and turn it
back off upon exit.

   The problem is, with PCM at 70%, master at 70%, it sets a base line
for the audio....and once the speech kicks in, no matter what else is
blaring away, speech is only 1/3 the volume of anything else turned on.
 This is something Festival has always had a problem with- I'm not sure
why.  But the last time I  looked, it required all kinds of complicated
conjuring to turn it up.

   I seem to recall some sort of argument to festival that'll turn it
up,,,I'll keep looking, thanks.
