Sorry to say that is where I started, with the same results.
I then tried Automatix2 , same results
Removed everything, started over at the wiki you suggested, same results
I always ran Xine or Totem-xine (Ogle,Gxine also worked fine).
They worked great when I was using Kubuntu/Ubuntu feisty herd5 7.04 on
my i386 PC and laptop.
My problem is they don't work on my Kubuntu/Ubuntu Feisty Herd5 7.04
amd64, Acer Aspire 5102 AMD64(x2) TL50 laptop.
I got rid of the i386 and moved to 64 bit. I realize it may tike time to
get everything working. That is why I am here.
