BUG: wireless stops when activating 3D screensaver

Whenever I activate the "Lattice" screensaver, the traffic on the 
wireless network stops:
- MP3 streaming over the Internet (played with XMMS) stops
- downloads in Firefox stop

Ubuntu 7.04 32bit
Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 4200
GeForce 7900 GS with the NVidia proprietary driver
Atheros AR5212 802.11abg WiFi card with the Atheros HAL driver
