I'm gonna install Ubuntu on my Macbook Pro... At all costs. Even at the 
sake of spending hours and hours hacking around trying to get audio 
working... then wireless working... then...? Who knows!?

It has been said that knowledge is power. Before I embark on my 
adventure I thought I might equip myself as well as possible with info.

As far as Ubuntu goes, the most relevant source of info re MBP is:

If any one here can comment on how up to date and accurate this wiki is 
I'd be glad to hear it. Also, any links to other good sources of info 
would be appreciated.

It's midnight here, so I'm gonne get some shut eye, and tomorrow I will 
nuke OS X etc.
