Yeah, as a matter of fact there was some deb packages I installed. I 
forget which one's off hand. Strange this would cause an error. It was 
looking at the group that Exim4 creates with a capital letter "D" 
instead of lower case "d" for the group name "debian-exim", that caused 
the upgrades to fail.
