Can't mount /dev/hda3, now I'm '/home'less!

I think I have seen a similar problem some time ago in another thread
(maybe on another list). AFAIR the problem was that "/home" was mounted
too early because the position of the "/home" entry in /etc/fstab was
before the entry for "/".
