mail sending problem

Hi,

please help me in providing some tips  in step by step . here is the 
problem....
We installed bugzilla in Ubuntu and we are unable to send mail, we don't 
know how to solve this becoz for the first time we are working with Ubuntu.
just provide steps with the file paths (please also provide example text 
in that file to be modified).
