Dell Laptop LCD Resolution

I'm running Kubuntu on a Dell laptop myself, but the real question is
the graphics card.  I'm using an ATI Mobility Radeon X1300, and there's
no libre driver for that, so I have 1024x768 too.  People can probably
help more if you post which graphics card you're using.
