ubuntu 6.10: Problem with DNS configuration...

Your DHCP server (which is probably part of your broadband router)
assigns not only an IP address, but also the entire network
configuration.
So it also assign the dns servers.
If you want a different configuration, you should probably change the
settings in your broadband router.
(Although I don't see any reason not to the router's integrated dns
server, it does exactly that forwarding)
