You need mplayer, and mplayer plugin. They are in the multiverse repository.

The Forward and Rewind buttons won't work (or at least I haven't found
a way of making them work).

Oh and some streams are offered in WMV but only some. None of the
commercial music streams are offered this way.

They won't do OGG streams, its too expensive and would cause an
increase in the TV license fee.
