Netgear WG511T (Atheros) pcmcia card can't associate with wireless AP

Hi Danny,

I had a similar problem with an Atheros WLAN card. For me it either
worked for encrypted networks flawlessly, unencrypted networks didn't
work at all with Egdy's kernel/madwifi - it did work on Dapper.

I cured most of the problems by manually installing new kernel modules
from madwifi.org (at that time, early November from SVN). After that I
could associate with most AP, except a small number (where I suspect a
timing issue)
