anacron and cron and laptop usage

Obviously, you can set your system to run anacron every hour or so and this
at some point your crontab will get executed. I do see your point about the
default being a little shortsighted. Raise a bug report I guess.

My anacron is executed every 3 hours I think. It suffices for my needs on a
non-production machine.
