mondo rescue questions

Here's what I have:

    * Updated Feisty
    * Mondo
    * Working system

Here's what I want to do:

    * Backup my system to CD/DVD
    * Restore my backup on CD/DVD to the drive

Here's what I did.

   1. Installed mondo
   2. Fallowed the instructions on the mondo website
   3. Backed everything up to a DVD using mondo
   4. Booted the backup DVD
   5. Fallowing the instructions I typed in "nuke"
   6. Mondo acts like it's putting my data back on the drive
   7. Part way through it stops
   8. I did another backup and restore with no luck

According to the mondo documentation "nuke" mode should format the drive 
and restore data. I don't think mondo is formating the drive. Either I 
am doing something wrong or the version of mondo in Feisty is broken.

I'm hoping someone on the list can help.
