Backing up to an external FAT32 disk

I agree. So far Dar and KDar are the best backup and restore utilities I 
have been able to find for Ubuntu. Unfortunately it takes a lot of "glue" 
to get Dar to reliably burn DVD's on a daily basis. It would be nice to see 
Dar, KDar and the "glue" packaged up as a nice GUI backup solution.
