support for intel 965 express chipset?

I recently got a new notebook with an intel 965 express chipset.
i can install feisty on it.
but the graphics chip doesn't seem to be properly recognized.
under windows the laptop can run a 1400x1050 resolution.
but under feisty i can only get the resolution up to 800x640.

does anyone no if the intel 965 express chipset is supported?
