Vmware Server Trouble

I just installed via automatix2 the vmware server on my feisty distro

then i` ve created a windows xp virtual machine with this settings:

memory 692Mb
Hard Disk  (IDE 0: 0) 180Gb
Ethernet1 bridged
processors 1

then, i clic power on, but i have the following message:

Unable to change virtual machine power state: The process exited with an error:
End of error message.

I try to delete and re-create the vmachine, but the same error

my physical machine has:
amd64 3200+
1 gb RAM
200Gb Sata DIsk
