Change font color in OpenOffice toolbar

On all of the GTK2 apps the default font color is white in the UPPER
TOOLBAR where file, edit, insert, format, etc are. Except in
OpenOffice the color is black. Which makes it kinda hard to read when
I am using my current theme.

Is there a way to change the font color to white?
ps. I am using Ubuntu Feisty Fawn with Gnome 2.6.18 and the Ubuntu
packaged OOO version 2.2 installed thru Synaptic with
openoffice.org-gtk and openoffice.org-gnome.
