"Recommended" by the author of the article that is.

After all, this is a wiki. :)

As I pointed out another reply to this thread, many Windows PCs come
with software (e.g. a stripped-down version of the commercial burning
software from Nero or Roxio) that burns ISOs quite well. So there's no
need to install a second program.

In fact there are often driver conflicts if you do, which may be part of
this persons problem....
