You may be right, though I did not hear that myself.  If that is the
case, I'd suggest that this guy would walk into his boss's office, ask
for a raise and then proceed to provide a lengthy diatribe on all the
faults of the company and it's management including remarks regarding
the questionable parentage of said boss, said boss's boss and their
spouses and children.  On his second week at a new job.

I rather like the suggestion of another responder that we offer to
provide the OP with the functionality at the bargain rate of $200,000.
