I've done this, but I don't seem to be able to affect the touchpad
operation very much. In particular, I want to scale up the cursor
movement, i.e., make the cursor move further along the screen for a
given movement of my finger. Any ideas how to do this?

I'm using a Dell Latitude D820.

Regards,
Tony.
