NetworkManager not connecting automatically

Network Manager's Connection Information says I'm getting 24 Mb/s with
fwcutter, which is fast enough for my needs - I'm at the far remove
from the local telco office and so can only get 1.7MB max via ADSL
(usually more like 675K), and this is the only machine in my LAN, so
that's not an issue.

What is interesting is that I'm dual booting to FC7, and can now tell
you that getting the BCM43xx card working in Ubuntu is a piece of cake
compared to FC7 - mainly as the FAQ's etc for FC aren't nearly as good
as the community pages for Ubuntu, and most are written for geeks... I
finally got the WiFi working in FC7 with fwcutter, but it keeps
shutting down - dmesg |tail says that "bcm43xx_mac80211: Radio turned
off" and the WiFi light goes out. But that's a problem for tomorrow
night, luckily Feisty works fine<G>
