Update problem...

I have 32 available updates, now after updating I am getting an error 
message, so really nothing is getting updated...

Here is what it says after the update is finished...

dpkg: Fgets gave an empty string diversions (i)
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (2)
A package failed to install. Trying to recover!.

Any help on fixing this issue would be appreciated...
