Wireless device appears to be configured properly but I cannot ping my router!

Since no one had tried to help with the problem and I did set up 
ndiswrapper and wireless with another chipset I thought I would try to help.
If you would have read my post with more attention you would have seen 
that I was quoting (I did place quotations) a website for setting up the 
ralink 2500. That "expert" is the one who said to uninstall NM.

Are you saying that if I am not a linux professional and don't 
understand all the ins and outs of linux that I should not contribute to 
a thread. If I have accomplished something or found a useful website I 
should not post it?
