Sorry ... didn't see that you were using an R51e.  What video chipset are
you using (ATI Mobility Radeon Xpress 200M ?) and what problems are you
having with display switching?

Are you not getting any output at all, or is the output you are getting
not suitable for your projector?  On my wife's X31 (an older Radeon), she
just uses a cloned display and has had no problems.
